Gourd Art
Gourd art is one of the oldest art forms in history. After the cave wall, gourds were the original canvas for human artistic expression, used worldwide by ancient cultures. Bess has now taken this honored, timeless art form and elevated it through a fusion of gourds and clay, creating an entirely new form of sculpture.

Oil Paintings
Bess uses a wet-on-wet speed painting technique, made popular by the famed Florida Highwaymen, who Bess lists as inspiration. Self-taught, oil painting is a new medium Bess is exploring. She focuses on the landscapes around her.
