A former educator, Bess Auer found her true calling was bringing together people for a like cause, whether it was fans of tacos or pickup trucks or even home cleaning products. Her first community was built through her annual blogger’s conference that grew to be one of the largest of its kind in the nation. Thousands of influencers, artists, and marketers learned to turn their own communities into raving, loyal fans.
Building with Intention
Bess spent the last decade building strong communities in both the influencer world and the world of competitive swimming. Her success translated into hosting a nationally syndicated television show about community building as well as producing and commentating live streams for ESPN and the SEC Network. She’s also helped hundreds of companies, both small and large, scale their marketing and branding efforts.
Producing Real Results
Bess Auer has now taken the lessons she has learned, not only from her own experiences but from coaching over 2,000 community builders, and has packaged them into a how-to guide called Unio: The Art of Intentional Community Building. By sharing best practices and the psychology behind the reasons why people join and stay with a community, Bess empowers marketers and business owners to build stronger, more sustainable tribes.
