“Scaredy Gourd” aka "The Black Cat"

$650.00
sold out

Materials: dried gourd, polymer clay, foil armature, acrylic, glass.

Size: Large gourd (multiple small gourds) - approx. 10” x 14” x 19“

Theme: Fear

Inspiration: I love cats (we rescued to brothers who give us endless entertainment!) and their sleek forms have always fascinated me. So, when I had a gourd that had the perfect cat tail, I put several smaller gourds together to get my stretching cat. And, what better way to pay homage to one of my favorite authors: Edgar Allan Poe.
