“We turned our swimming pool into a koi pond!”

Bess Auer and her husband are Florida natives who turned their swimming pool into a koi pond shortly after Hurricane Irma hit in 2017. What started out with just 4 koi, soon became 40 more, and is now over 200 carp thriving in the green water. Bess then took her passion for fish and art and began creating whimsical clay koi sculptures, each inspired by one of her actual fish. Her limited edition, one-of-a-kind clay koi are now available for sale.
