“Gourdians of the Galaxy”

$300.00

Materials: dried gourd, polymer clay, resin, acrylic, glass, repurposed items.

Size: Large gourd - approx. 12” x 21” x 15“

Theme: Connection

Inspiration: Inspired by the 1902 French black and white film “A Trip to the Moon” which has the iconic image of a rocket crashing into the Man in the Moon’s eye, I realized this fit in modern-day, too, with our search for connection, not only with galaxies far away but also our search for connection right here on Earth.
